OfficeLink, Shared Office Concepts in Chelmsford hosted a fundraiser on Tuesday, May 8th for the local foundation, Live for Liv.
The Live for Liv Foundation, Inc., is committed to educating society about the warning signs and impact of domestic violence in order to honor the memory of Olivia “Liv” Marchand. The Westford-based foundation, which raises awareness about domestic violence and promotes resources for families in need of assistance for domestic violence situations, was started n February 1, 2010, after 17-year-old Olivia Marchand life was taken and her mother Jody Marchand was critically injured. The event, which featured a wine tasting from One Hope Wine, and delicious gourmet hors d’oeuvres provided by Jody’s brother, Scott Toney (Licensed Realtor at Weichert, Realtors and gourmet chef!), was a joyful evening which served to build enthusiasm for the Foundation’s main annual fundraiser, the Live for Live Ride and Run. This year’s event is on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the 4H Fairground in Westford and features participation for all levels and family members.
